In case what I did mattered and anyone else has this happen to them:įirst, I turned off my laptop, waited for it to power down, then power cycled (unplugged, waited 10 seconds, and replugged) the Dock. Whelp, I fixed it! Or perhaps it fixed itself, as is so often the case with these things. It isn’t hidden or disabled - it just doesn’t show up:Īny ideas on what I might do to get my computer to recognize the Dock as a USB Playback Device / make the Dock realize it’s a USB Playback Device? Is there a driver or something I could install in addition to whatever was on the included CD? I looked into other similar problems on your forums here, and it looks like (at least part of) my problem might be that the Dock doesn’t show up in my list of Playback devices in the Sound Control Panel. (I tested with Netflix and Youtube.)įor what it’s worth, I’m working on a Toshiba Satellite S855, Windows 10. Plugging my headphones into the headphone jack on the Dock, I get no sound - plugging the same headphones into my laptop’s audio jack works just fine, as normal. I just set up my new UD-3900, and everything seems to be working swimmingly but for the audio.
